"Frames of Freedom" is a Juneteenth film festival presented by Cleo Parker Robinson Dance in partnership with the Sundance Institute and the Youth Documentary Academy. Hosted at the Center for the Healing Arts, the festival celebrates Black storytelling, creativity, and community through powerful feature films, youth documentaries, artist conversations, and community dialogue. Rooted in the spirit of Juneteenth, the event brings together filmmakers, students, educators, and community leaders to explore themes of identity, healing, culture, resilience, and social change while uplifting the next generation of storytellers and creating space for reflection, connection, and collective liberation through film and the arts.
